Story
We didn't start in an auto shop. We started on multi-day expeditions through the Wind River and Snowy Range, on ski patrol, and on the kind of trips where the gear either works or you're in real trouble.
Years of guiding backpacking, mountaineering, and rock climbing trips teaches you something specific: extra weight is extra effort, mile after mile, day after day. And extra features are extra failure points.
That's where "less is more, light is fast" comes from. It's not a tagline. It's what you learn the hard way when you're five days into a trip and something breaks.
That same thinking is why Two Track works the way it does. A camper with fewer parts is a camper with fewer things to go wrong at elevation, in the rain, three days from the trailhead. Fewer things to go wrong means more time actually spent outside, doing what you love.
Built for the Person, Not the Category
Most of the camper market is built around one type of person: the dedicated overland rig, kitted out for expedition-scale trips. Two Track was built for someone different: the person who wants to spend the weekend in the mountains and then drive to work Monday morning without swapping vehicles or explaining the roof rack. Daily drivers, first. Campers, always.
Most Wrangler owners are told they have two options: a trailer or a roof top tent. Two Track is neither. It's a low-profile, integrated hardtop that keeps your Jeep a Jeep when it's closed, and turns into a place to sleep when it's not. No separate vehicle footprint, no bulky silhouette parked in your driveway all week. Just the truck you already drive, doing one more job well.
Mechanical Honesty
We build simple on purpose. Few moving parts, no proprietary fasteners, nothing electronic to fail you three days from the trailhead. If you're the kind of owner who does your own maintenance and doesn't trust a system you can't fix with tools you already own, that's exactly who we built this for. Less to break means more nights actually spent outside instead of troubleshooting.
